Hello, I'm Adi. I'm an aspiring front-end developer dedicating every day to get better than I was yesterday. My main focus is React (Next.js).
About me
After graduating with a degree in Law, I spent three years working in a private law firm and the next five years with the United Nations, UNHCR. Despite the great experiences and work conditions, I always found myself missing something crucial.
It might took me a while to realize it (yeah, 8 years 😂), but my strongest asset proved to be a relentless work ethic, a passion for learning and achieving new skills that would make me a better proffesional in my field, and maybe most of all, ability to grind (coding whole day without looking at a clock 🤭). I've also learned that the most valuable asset one can have is knowledge — being skilled in something others are not. I can't buy it, I can't inherit it, I can't find it, I can only earn it.
And that is how one lawyer and UN officer becomes web developer🧑💻. In web development, I see endless possibilities for learning and improvement, and every day, I feel better at what I am doing than I was the day before and that is all I could ask for from a profession.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy playing with my furry friends 🐶😸, reading resource materials, and spending time with my family.

Even though my goal was to focus on more modern web development technologies, I decided to start with the basics. I completed several online courses to get a solid foundation in web development.
August 2023 - October 2023Built my first solo project (Static website)
My first project was a static website for a small local handcraft business.
November 2023 - December 2023Completed Jonas Schmedtmann's The Ultimate React Course

After finishing my first project I continued with focusing on React, so I completed Jonas Schmedtmann's React course and started planning my next solo project.
January 2024Built my first SPA project with React
I decided to build an app for myself, as I never really liked native browser bookmarks. So I built a simple CRUD application for saving and categorizing bookmarks for my favourite resources for learning web development.
February 2024 - March 2024Started learning Next.js

After going through projects and courses with plain JavaScript, and then React, I decided to focus all of my time on learning and mastering Next.js, so I completed several courses and code-alongs to get as much code through my fingers as possible.

After diving into multiple full-stack projects with Next.js, I decided to take a small turn back to the front-end and build a corporate blog website focusing on clean design and high performance.
